• Common Questions About Property Preservation Insurance

    February 8, 2016

Recently, we asked one of our Property Preservation Insurance experts about the most common questions they hear from new clients. Since one of Brunswick Companies’ goals is to educate our clients to the best of our ability, here are the questions and their answers.

What Is The Difference Between Errors & Omissions Insurance And General Liability Insurance?

Both are liability policies, but each provide coverage for different exposures. General Liability pays claims that have resulted in bodily injury or property damage. Errors & Omissions (E&O) pays claims arising out of a contractual obligation of the professional service.

For example, one of your subcontractors neglected to properly winterize a house and the water pipes burst. General Liability would cover the resulting property damage. E&O insurance would cover you for their failure to winterize the pipes as outlined in the contract.

    Do You Offer Payment Plans?

Yes, we offer interest-free payment plans as well as automatic withdrawals through a checking or savings account, on both a monthly or quarterly basis.

When Will A Certificate Of Insurance Be Available?

Certificates are available within 24 hours of binding insurance. We also have a dedicated service center to assist with additional certificates, billing, and coverage questions.

Can I Get Workers’ Compensation Too?

Once you have a property preservation policy, we can support your request for workers’ compensation coverage.
